1) Allow the products to defrost completely before baking.
2) Make sure that they have been allowed to cool completely before slicing.
This will make the difference between having an "ok" bagel and a GREAT bagel!
FAQ's
1) Can I defrost the bagels overnight in the refrigerator ?
Answer: NO, please follow the directions exactly. Joan has tested these herself.
2) How long should I microwave the bagel prior to baking ?
Answer: Microwave until completely defrosted and at room temperature. Microwaves vary in power, so do a little bit at a time until you know how long it takes in your oven. Bagels can be defrosted on the counter, until defrosted completely.
3) My toaster oven burns the bagels at 425F, what should I do ?
Answer: Lower the heat a little and turn the bagels over after about 8 minutes.
4) Which products are "dairy-free" ?
Answer: The English Muffins, Sandwich Rolls (Onion and Plain), Pumpernickel Raisin Rolls, Sugar Cookies. Also, our Bagels can be ordered dairy-free in any flavor.
5) Which products contain soy ?
Answer: No soy flour or oil is ever used in any of our products. The only soy is soy lecithin used for rolling the bagels and in the chocolate chips.
